Nicole is a Licensed Professional Counselor committed to helping individuals experiencing acute or chronic issues by focusing on overall well-being, effective coping strategies, and development of insight about how thoughts, emotions, and behavior are connected. She collaborates with clients in identifying and reaching their goals and fosters a warm, empathetic environment where people can grow and feel confident about making change.

Nicole is passionate about creating strategies and resources for both teens and adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, life stressors, parenting, relationship issues, grief and loss, and emotional or professional transitions. Nicole uses cognitive behavioral, solution focused, and acceptance based theoretical models to assist clients in regulating emotions, resolving difficult problems, improving communication, and increasing self-esteem. 

Nicole has a professional background in supporting the military community in her domestic and abroad roles with the United States Department of State, United States Department of Investigation, and as an Independent Contractor where she focused on pertinent issues related to military culture, traumatic brain injury, family advocacy, and appropriate treatment modalities. She earned her certification in Clinical Military Counseling and has specialized training in various prevention programs for military-affected families. 

Nicole holds a Master of Science degree in Sociology and she is a graduate of Marymount University's Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counsling program. She has worked in the private practice setting for nearly 10 years, treating clients with both military and non-miliary histories. Nicole is board certified by the National Board of Clinical Counselors and is a member of the American Counseling Association.
